Generative AI holds transformative potential for empowering teaching and learning through natural language, unlocking deeper conceptual understanding and engagement. By simulating various educational roles, such as coach, facilitator, and storyteller, AI fosters critical thinking, reflective learning, and personalized instruction. This presentation explores how AI enhances traditional and digital learning environments, addressing the promises of its application in education, including promoting active engagement and facilitating tailored feedback. Additionally, it considers challenges, such as dependency and ethical implications, while proposing strategies for mitigating these risks. By integrating foundational and transformative learning approaches, generative AI emerges as a powerful tool for fostering intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and collaborative problem-solving, ultimately advancing both educators' capabilities and learners' outcomes.
